Well this has been by far the most tragic week for me as a fan of Michael Jackson. I am still trying to accept the fact that he will not be with us anymore. I remember when I was a young kid in the late 80's and my mother and I was watching the Beat It video. That was the first MJ video I have ever seen and my mom played the Thiller album like crazy. I also remember my mom bought me a similar red jacket that Micheal had in the Beat It video. He is by far the most inspirational artist ever. Not just in music alone but in life itself.
This is my tribute to the great Micheal Jackson. What sparked the idea was that I found one of the old Vibe comics I did and there was a part that I didn't know I drew were Jessie is singing Pretty Young Thing. That really made me laugh so then I came up with this showing Jessie's loss of Micheal Jackson.
Micheal were ever you are right now you are happy and now you are finally at peace. Thank you so much for all that you had done for your loving fans. God speed MJ.

I remember the "Black and White" video...and of course, Thriller. I used to have 2 of his tapes, back before CDs came out But I was just watching the news the day it happened, and I just couldn't stop thinking about how I was growing up in Ohio, singing the words to Black and White.
A lot of people are incredibly disrespectful of who he was as a person, especially since these past couple of years haven't been so nice to MJ, but really, they should remember him for his music, and the barriers he broke, as well as the goals he set for future musicians.
Yeah. Beat was the first Michael Jackson song I ever heard and immediatley, I was hooked. He was a glorious gift from God and there was no musical artist like him.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
